More than 50 people paid to play mah jongg, be served delicious food and drink, and have fun winning exciting prizes donated from many area businesses. The event raised money for S.T.E.A.M. presentations that will be held during this year’s Summer Reading Program. S.T.E.A.M. stands for science, technology, engineering, art and math and will have a part-time staff member dedicated entirely to planning and running this program. The Tea Party was headed up by Lin Ross, Library Board President, with help from other staff and volunteers. It was a great time and fun was had by all! Thank you Mah Jongg players and businesses for making this event possible!
