In Mid-2018 we started a project to build-out the teen center, hire a teen center coordinator, and enrich the teen experience by providing a multitude of services and programs. Among those, we are in the process of securing funding to build a high tech media hub where youth can learn broadcasting skills and videography. As these come to fruition and enrollment begins, then we will consider other opportunities for the youth, ages 13-17, to further their education and skills, and enhance their employability.

We hope that 2019 and beyond will bring exiting new ideas and promises to promote the education and knowledge of our youngest library member all the way to our most senior members. We could not do it without our community of volunteers and donors—those who appreciate the tremendous significance of a community library.
