LCL Summer Teen Program-A Great Success!

This summer the Lancaster Community Library teen program hosted four brand new programs for the teens in our community.  We had three programs in the month of July, and one program in the month of August.

The Storymobile continues to makes its rounds bringing stories, books and crafts to young children at local and in-home daycare facilities.

The Lancaster Community Library is excited to announce that the Teen Center renovation will commence this coming Fall.  It should have minimal impace on our patrons, as families will be busy with the new school year, and people will be busy with gardening and outdoor activities with the milder weather.

Our other children’s programs continue to hum along with many fun activities. Besides Santa Claus, we also had Priscilla, the elf, at Christmas this year. Varley Wrick and his model train club pals brought their mobile train set to a Storytime for the kids to enjoy for the 4th year in a row. Shady Brook Farm brought their lpacas, Casper and Stormy for the kids to touch and to learn about their super-soft fleece.
